Chelsea fan arrested for stealing while celebrating Premier League win



- A young man whose name is given as Bolaji Adeleke has been arrested
by the police for allegedly stealing
- The culprit who is a popular Chelsea FC supporter was caught in
Ilorin the capital of Kwara state on Saturday morning, May 13
- Reports made available to NAIJ.com alleged that the thug was caught
stealing electrical cable in Ilorin
A youngman Bolaji Adeleke has been arrested on Saturday morning, May
13, 2017 in Ilorin, Kwara state for stealing electrical cable hours after his
team won the English Premier League title.
Reports reaching NAIJ.com indicate that the culprit broke into the
electrical shop located at the popular Taiwo Road in Ilorin, hours after
Chelsea won the Premier League.
Adeleke who clad in a Chelsea Football Club jersey was spotted by a
motorist right in the act, before police were alerted.
According to an eye witness who gave his name as Abdul Momoh, the
criminal explained that he had been inside the shop immediately Chelsea
defeated West Brom.

''The guy has been inside the shop after Chelsea match because he was
seen at a viewing center celebrating the win, but he started his operation
this early morning before he was caught,'' Momoh said to NAIJ.com.
