Buhari mourns ex-Commissioner for works, General Obada

The President, Muhammadu Buhari, has on Monday, sent condolences to the government and people of Delta State on the death of a former Federal Commissioner for Works, Major General Orho Obada (retd.).
Obada, Aide-de-Camp to Nigeria’s first President, Dr Nnamdi Azikwe, reportedly died at a private hospital In Warri, Delta State, after a brief illness on Sunday.
Aged 81, Obada also served as the commissioner representing Delta State in the Federal Revenue Mobilisation Allocation and Fiscal Commission in 2006.
In a statement by his Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu, the President commiserated with Agbarho Kingdom in Ughelli North Local Council and Urhobo Progress Union.
He urged the deceased’s associates to draw strength from the legacies that he left behind, most commendably his willingness to serve the country, and humanity.
